1. Fair Game Beverage Company

In Pittsboro, NC lies Fair Game Beverage Company, a craft distillery rooted in our Southern tradition. This distillery is inspired by the world’s classic spirits and distills rums and brandies in bourbon oak barrels. 

Visitors are encouraged to visit the tasting room to sample these delicious spirits. There is also an art gallery on-site called Smelt. Copeland Springs Farm Kitchen also serves food to guests during tasting room hours. 

The site is pet-friendly and offers water hookups, Wi-Fi, and a picnic area to enjoy during your stay.

2. Mystic Farm & Distillery

Mystic Farm & Distillery in Durham, North Carolina is a 22-acre distillery that specializes in cask-strength bourbon, bourbon liqueur, and gin. The tasting room is open Wednesdays through Sundays for samples of the spirits. Visitors will love enjoying a cocktail or two on the patio.

Mystic Farm & Distillery even hosts occasional outdoor movie nights, so you might be able to catch a flick on the big screen while enjoying a drink. Pets are welcome, but please note  neighborhood goats may pass by during your stay!

The distillery offers cocktails, wine, and beer for purchase and consumption on the beautiful front porch.

3. The Mason Jar Lager Co.

Located in Fuquay-Varina, NC, The Mason Jar Lager Co. is a 100% lager brewery that brings both classic German-inspired and modern lagers to North Carolina. The on-site taproom has outdoor seating, fire pits, and food trucks (Thursday-Sunday), as well as live bands on Saturdays. 

RVers can enjoy The Mason Jar Lager Co. restaurant only a mile down the road. The menu features made-from-scratch southern cooking. There are also several other breweries and restaurants nearby, a local coffee shop, a delicious bakery, local shops, and more within walking distance.

Members will park their vehicles behind the taproom. Pets are welcome at this location and two paved parking spaces are available.

4. Bright Penny Brewing Co.

This brewery is located in Mebane, NC, and offers guests a unique downtown experience. Bright Penny Brewing Co. offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, 16-18 beers on tap, a newly renovated beer garden, and a pet-friendly outdoor space.

The brewery also features a full menu with craft pizzas, salads, and 10 varieties of deviled eggs. It is located in a historic rice flour and feed mill building downtown, near antique stores, local eateries, and more. Walk to suggested local establishments in town to get a feel for the South and its laid-back atmosphere.

The site is only about 20 minutes from Durham and Duke University. It is open every day and offers two pet-friendly RV sites with Wi-Fi.

5. Frothy Beard Brewing Company

Frothy Beard Brewing Company in Charlotte, NC is the perfect place to kick back, relax, and enjoy an alcoholic beverage. With 16 rotating beers and a full drink menu with cocktails, seltzers, ciders, and non-alcoholic options, you’re sure to find something you like. 

This family-friendly and pet-friendly taproom also offers tasty pizzas, taco, sandwiches, and more. The brewing company also offers $5 pint specials on Sundays to watch the Carolina Panthers games.
