Best Time To Visit Lincoln State Park for RV Camping

Winter

If you’re planning on going RV camping in Lincoln State Park, then winter is probably not the season to do it — unless you’re fond of daily highs averaging from the high 30s to low 40s Fahrenheit. Spring

In the early spring, temperatures at Lincoln State Park start out with daily highs around the mid-50s and rise to the mid-70s by May. However, you will have to wait for Memorial Day weekend to arrive if you are planning on going swimming in Lakes Lincoln or Weber. Spring is when the rains arrive, so bring an umbrella.

Summer

In terms of precipitation, summer does rival spring, with an average of 18 days each month seeing some amount of rain. It can feel balmy, with highs in the mid-80s. With humidity just shy of 80%, the park may be full of visitors like you itching to cool off in the waters of Lake Lincoln. If summer is when you’re looking to go, you’ll need to book your campground well in advance. 

Fall

If you’re a fan of changing leaves in the fall — and who isn’t? — then you’ll want to visit Lincoln State Park as the weather begins to cool down.
