The Sparacia-Witherell Family Winery in Brooksville, FL is located at 275 feet above sea level, which is one of the highest elevations in the state of Florida. The Barberville Pioneer Settlement in western Volusia County, FL is a charming historical village surrounded by moss-draped oak trees. This RV destination offers a unique experience on an expansive property in rural Florida. The village offers self-guided tours and guided tours (with reservations). The settlement also hosts living history and folk music festivals celebrating the late 19th and early 20th centuries throughout the year. There are no hookups available, however, there are on-site restrooms and a water spigot. 

“What a great place to over-night. I timed my stay to coincide with their Old Florida days. There were many demos of long ago... Blacksmithing, woodcarving, fiber spinning, weaving, etc., along with live folk music and storytelling. The jailbreak shootout was great! The area for overnighting was completely shaded by live oaks and very quiet.”

Keel & Curley Winery and Restaurant in Plant City, FL is a top Harvest Hosts location because of its dining options and tasting room. It also offers U-Pick fruit picking and hay rides seasonally. “We had another great visit and meal. The parking is easy to get to and very spacious. We had a question for the host, and they responded by email in a timely manner and were very accompanying. The food and drinks were wonderful. It was way too hot to walk the property this visit but it is a great thing to do when you visit. We will be back. Thanks for hosting!”

Encanto Farm in Floral City, FL is a fantastic place to call home for a night or two. It is a local farm committed to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. The farm features Mini Donkeys, Mini Brahma Cows, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and many tropical plant species. The RV campsite is shaded under a large tree and offers plenty of space to spread out. Generators and pets are allowed on the property and free Wi-Fi is available for guests. 

“We had an incredibly wonderful stay at Encanto Farm. Communication was very up-to-date and we found the place easily.  Kati welcomed us warmly, as did all of the animals. Parking was easy. Ducks greeted us and wandered around outside our camper frequently, as we were parked next to the pond. The donkeys were affectionate when we gave them treats, the goats were very energetic! Kati’s tropical plants were beautiful and I bought a Hoya to grow in our Airstream…we will return!”

“We enjoyed our overnight stay. The campground was very nice and Brie was extremely knowledgeable of the wines and very helpful. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in town.”

This organic farm near Miami is somewhere you don’t want to miss. The family-friendly farm offers a children’s petting zoo, ziplines, horseback rides, pony rides, a garden maze, a seasonal sunflower field, a cow train, and plenty of delicious snacks. Perfect for families with children, Tinez Farms has it all. There are five gravel parking spaces for RVs up to 40 feet. Pets are welcome on the property as well. Additionally, this is not too far from Everglades National Park

“Enter gate 7 or exit. Gate 5 is too narrow for a class c. The people were wonderful. Very helpful and a joy. The place is beautiful. Perfect setting for events. Would love to see their Christmas display. Highly recommend this location for a peaceful night's stay. The farm tour kept us busy and the animals were eager to be fed. Great place if you have kids.”
