BUSCH GARDENS AFRICA, TAMPA, FL

At Six Flags Over Texas, you’ll have everything Six Flags is known for - pulse-pounding roller coasters, kid-friendly fun, and everything in between. But for a true taste of the Lone Star State, you’ve got to ride the Texas Giant. At 14 stories tall, this old-school monster is consistently voted the best wooden coaster on earth. CEDAR POINT AMUSEMENT PARK, SANDUSKY, OH

Boasting more roller coasters and rides than any other amusement park in the world, Cedar Point is a thrill-seeker’s dream and one of the most well-known amusement parks in the United States. Come for the amusement park’s newest addition, Maverick - a Frontier-themed coaster that drops riders from 100 feet in the air at an astonishing 95-degree angle, meaning it’s even steeper than a straight drop-off.
