You will find the long San Clemente Pier stretching out into the Pacific near T-Street Beach. The Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Garden embodies the original Spanish-style architecture of the city.

If you want to do some beautiful explorations along the coast, you can start by traveling just a few minutes north on I-5 and visiting Dana Point. Dana Point Harbor is a virtual wonderland with its marinas, eclectic boutiques and eateries. There is a great deal of fun in the sun, and one of the ways to enjoy it is in the form of a whale or dolphin-watching cruise. Enjoy the surf waves as they roll into nearby Doheny State Beach and Salt Creek Beach. Take a hike on the trails that wind through Dana Point Headlands Conservation Area, complete with beautiful ocean views, as well as an interpretive center.

Just four miles down I-5 from Dana Point is San Juan Capistrano. While there, you can take tours of the Mission buildings and gardens, which include the ruins of the 1797 Great Stone Church, famous for the legendary swallows of Capistrano. The Los Rios Historic District has buildings open to the public. Some of these buildings include the 1881 Ramos House Café and the 1794 Montanez Adobe. ZOOMARS Petting Zoo is a kid-friendly attraction in the district adjacent to the train depot. The festive town center is replete with interesting galleries, antique stores, shops and restaurants.
