When out on an RV road trip, what do you look for in a campground? Some RVers seek out urban campgrounds with amenities to the max... you know, like full hookups, free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, grills, propane fill-ups, and more. Other travelers don't mind roughing it in more rural surroundings, especially if it means they can save a bit of money.

With so many different kinds of campgrounds out there, you're bound to find the perfect campsite for you on your own — eventually. To help spur your search and make things a lot easier and faster for you, here are (in Cruise America's humble opinion) 20 of the best campgrounds to visit in 2025!
